My Life as a Book by Janet Tashijan

This book is about a boy named, Derek, who is trying to have the best summer ever but becomes upset because he is in summer tutoring. He has super strict parents. He found an old newspaper about his old babysitter who died while watching him. He is trying to find out what really happened that day. I like this book because it’s an exciting story. Derek learns about friendship and truth.
