Two girls, Lizzie and Naomi are both foster kids. They live on Blackbird Street. One day while they are playing by a tree, a boy falls out of nowhere. Then a couple days later the Dingle-Dangle man comes and asks a bunch of odd questions about the boy. He seems very suspicious. Read The Great Unexpected to discover the amazing mystery of the boy and how his story changes Lizzie's and Naomi's life.
I really liked it because the main characters Lizzie and Naomi would be people I would be friends with. Lizzie likes to sing and Naomi would just be a fun person to be around. I also liked it because it is a weird book with the Dingle-Dangle Man, Witch Wiggins and Crazy Cora. You should really read this book.
