In the Mag 12 series, seemingly ordinary children discover they are part of an ancient force of magical warriors who must first find all 12 members of the Magnifica and then save the world from the pale queen and her army. The Key is the third book in the series. Mack and his friends must find the key to help understand their powers. While they are racing around Europe, Mack's Golum is home filling for him at home and school.
Some chapters are a little slow but the parts with the Golum are so funny and sarcastic.I also like the character Sylvie and how she is described. People who like Mr. Johnson's sarcasm will love this book.
