Reel Life Starring Us by Lisa Greenwald --Patricia

It’s about a girl named Dina who moved to a town named, Rockwood Hills. At the school they’re having a fiftieth anniversary gala. Dina gets paired up with a girl named Chelsea, to do a video about the life of a Rockwood Hills student, because they both started a month late. Chelsea has always been the most popular girl in school, but she started late because she had mono (a disease). In the beginning they’re just partners, but in the end they’re almost the best of friends.
I like it because it was a funny tale about how two people can start out as enemies, and end up as friends.

Well Gotta Go,

Wonder Struck --Brian Selznick ----Anthony M.

Wonder Struck is about a boy named Ben who lives in Minnesota with a his uncle, aunt and his cousin. He is trying to find his dad in New York because his mom never told him who his dad was and now she can’t tell him because she died. The pictures in the book is based on a different story about a girl who lived long ago.

It was sad because he didn’t know who his Dad was. I wanted to find out if he was going to find his Dad. I was excited because he was finding clues that helped him get one step closer to finding his Dad.

My favorite part is when they were on a hill in San Francisco. They came upon different types of grain spirits that they slashed and the grain spirits turned into cereal. It was kind of intense.

This Isn't What it Looks Like By Pseudonymous Bosch--Patricia

This book is about a girl named Cass who goes into a coma after she eats weird chocolate. It was time travel chocolate so she goes back to the past, but when she wakes up during a power outage she feels like she is in the past and the present at the same time. Through the rest of the book she "sees" people she met in the past.

Well, I don't want to say any more and ruin it so I'll tell you why I liked it. I liked it because some parts of the book will surprise you, and you won't want to stop reading.
