Marcelo in the Real World by Fancisco X. Stock

Marcelo, a young boy who has autism, goes to a lab where they are studying what music is like when you imagine it in your head. He also goes to a high school that is different from other high schools. His dad, Auturo, wants Marcelo to get a job at his law office in the mail room and go to a different high school. Marcelo said yes and gets a job and meets girl, Jasmine. Marcelo likes Jasmine and has to decide whether to go to the old school with comfort or stay and feel open to exploring new things. While working for his dad in his mail room he finds a picture of a girl and her face is deformed. He sees the picture and tries to find out who she is. I likes this book because I never read a book about someone with autism before and its just a new experience. -- Louie
