When PK's foster parents are murdered, he finds out that he
now owns a very valuable letter. He doesn't know why it's worth so much, or why
everyone wants it. Trying to hide it from everyone, PK goes to Virginia CIty,
Nevada and he learns not to trust anyone. I loved the book The Case of the
Deadly Desperados because it was funny, adventurous, and unpredictable. It was
great for points too and you should definitely read it.
